wii mod chips installation / Solder skills Lesson 28

HEY !! MODCHIP_WIZARD !!! I got my modbo 4 mod but How do I solder to those really small holes on the main board.

Playstation 2 Xbox and wii mod chips like D2CKey require soldering to very small points on the main board called divets. "Gently" Use a sharp pointer tool to first scrape gently across the divets to remove the main board insulation over the point then apply flux - solder will take easily.

Any good quality single strand insulated wire is fine. Kynar wire is widely known and used but Sony has the best repair single strand wire available.

This type of soldering should not be attempted by inexperienced.

Practice on a dead main board first.

HEY MODCHIP-WIZARD !! I Installed a Wiikey in my Wii- I can Load the wiikey.cn 1.9 Bios Update . But no other discs I burn including the Config Discs work??

I have managed to get my config discs to work,
apparently every disc i burnt worked fine, however to get them all to work i needed to
burn a different boot disc (GCOS is what i used) and then after i used the gcos boot up once,
i could all of a sudden load any of my burnt discs, weird.
Just in case any one else has this problem, i thought i'd email you my solution.
